1950’s - Joe Penny took over
As the 1950s rolled in, bringing with them a wave of cultural transformation, Joe Penny took the reins of Red Front Inn. With a keen eye for innovation and a heart for the community, Joe Penny steered the establishment through a decade of growth and change. 1962 - Jim Buchannan:
In 1962, Jim Buchannan became the custodian of the legacy that Joe D’Federico, Quinn, and Joe Penny had built. 1976: Mike Moore

Our story begins in 1998 in the heart of New Paris, Ohio. Rick VanWinkle saw more than just a building; he saw a dream taking shape. Purchasing the Red Front, he embarked on a journey to create a space where delicious food meets the warmth of community. It was here that Red Front Pizza was born, quickly becoming a local favorite, known for its mouth-watering pizzas and welcoming atmosphere.
2020: Expanding Horizons- Richmond Location Opens
As our pizzas gained fame, so did our aspirations. In 2020, under the guidance of Rick’s son Mike, we opened our doors in Richmond, marking a significant milestone in our journey. This new branch wasn't just an expansion; it was a testament to our commitment to spreading joy through our food. The Richmond location brought with it a modern twist, offering a fresh, vibrant setting while staying true to the Red Front essence.
2023: Embracing New Opportunities-
Our story took an exciting turn in 2023 with the opening of our Lakengren Ohio location. Nestled beside a picturesque lake, this spot offers a unique experience with its focus on carryout and drive-thru services. It's a perfect blend of convenience and quality, catering to the bustling lifestyle of our lake community.
